The Startup Alliance was built to solve a real problem: international founders with strong ideas and genuine ambition consistently struggled to navigate China’s regulatory environment, build local networks, and access the support they needed to grow.
The gap between China’s innovation infrastructure and the international founder community was wide — and largely unaddressed. We set out to close it.
Working directly with the Chaoyang District Talent Work Bureau and a growing network of universities, investors, and industry partners, we built a platform that handles the complexity so founders can focus on building.
Today, the Startup Alliance operates across four integrated layers — Policy, Pillars, Platform, and Playground — forming a deeply connected ecosystem that supports international founders from their first day in China to their first funding round and beyond.
