Last month, we successfully hosted our very first Beijing International Youth Startup Bootcamp in close partnership with the Beijing Overseas Talents Center (BOTC).
We welcomed 50 brilliant international talents, mostly master’s and PhD students from top universities like Tsinghua University, Peking University, Beijing Institute of Technology, China Agricultural University, and University of International Business and Economics, carefully selected from over 100 applications across 20+ countries, spanning hashtagAI, hashtagcleanenergy, hashtagagritech, and meaningful social innovations.
Over three content-heavy, action-packed days, our builders dove deep into practical policy sessions delivered by city and district representatives, business model canvas workshops, no-code prototyping, pitch training with expert coaches, and inspiring real-life founder stories.
The outcome: more than 20 promising new venture ideas emerged, from biometric mental health monitoring systems and AI-powered risk platforms for SMEs to sustainable agritech solutions for rural Africa and Latin America. We also awarded special service packages to our top-performing teams to help accelerate their journeys forward!
A massive thank you to our outstanding mentors and speakers Jelte Ansgar Wingender, Nil Larom 郎宁, Mo Alezzabi, Eric Lammers, Yaokai Jiang for generously giving their time, expertise, and game-changing insights – you truly made the difference! 🌟
We’re incredibly proud to be part of this movement of global youth powering innovation in Beijing, and we’re already excited for more initiatives in 2026! 🚀
